The Stove Industry Alliance (SIA) estimate that a woodburner stove costs about 1/3 the price of electric heating and 13% less than gas central heating for the average household. These statistics were also provided prior to the recent increase in gas prices in the UK. 

These figures are minor when comparing to the efficiency of an open house hold fire which averages an efficiency rating of around 15%.

As part of the governments 2022 clean air strategy, all stoves produced must be “Eco Design Ready” this guarantees you will receive the most efficient appliance.
